Career missionary (Long Term):
We insist on three years Bachelor of Theology done at an
accredited bible college, especially if you are going
to be involved with church planting; evangelism, or
biblical teaching. All other ministries, you need to
have a minimum of one year theological training.
Short-term:
For service from one year to two year’s, you will need one year
theological training
For less than one year no bible training needed but
recommended depending on the ministry involved.
SIM recommends that before going out as a missionary it is
advisable to do some bible training: For
