The Hands On Training [HOT] Program
provides Christians with a combination
of grounding in God’s Word and cross-cultural exposure in
the context of local and foreign missions.
|

The HOT Programme includes :
*
orientation
in Cape Town
*
a camp,
*
Biblical courses with a mission focus,
*
a Student Ministry Week on the Cape Flats,
*
team building and
*
at least one trip to the ‘field, (lots of challenging and
fun times of fellowship).

Study
is done in Kalk Bay at the Bible Institute of South Africa www.bisa.org.za
which is well known for its stand on the central truths of
Biblical theology. It is accredited with Northwest University
and ACTEA. Participants with matric exemption (university pass)
qualify to take courses for credit towards a degree.
Many
of the lecturers are experienced missionaries and are right
there for advice and guidance. The Programme ends back in Cape
Town with debriefing and evaluation.
WHO MAY APPLY?
- 18+ year-olds
- who love the Lord
- who want to become more involved in missions
- who want to study the Word of God and
- who are in good standing with their church
Note: Due to the nature of the programme,
unfortunately no-one with dependants will be considered.
