WANTED: SIM Contact People

What is a ‘Contact Person?’

A Contact Person is a volunteer (unsalaried) link between the SIM Co-ordination Officer and one or more of the following with which/whom he/she is connected:
• The Church (Pastor/ church departments)
• Christian group at school, ‘varsity, work, etc
• Christian friends
• Other Christian activity.

Please remember that in each area of liaison mentioned below someone will be able to give advice and help.

Who can be a Contact Person?
• anyone who loves the Lord
• a member in good standing with his/her church and wants to serve God
• a person who would like go out as a missionary, but is prevented by circumstances
• a person who is reliable and is fairly easily contactable

You want to be a Contact Person - what do you do now?
• Talk to your missions committee chairperson or your minister about your desire to be a Contact Person.
If they are positive, then
• Discuss together the areas in which you could be involved
• We look forward to hearing from you.
