Our trip so far, day 1 we did 540km in six and a half hours. Not setting any land speed records. Traffic has been fairly busy but well behaved. No stupid maniacs. The road from Cape Town to Beaufort West was very good. Three cheers to the roads department. From Three Sisters to Colesburg, bad, but they are working so our tax money is working. Yeah!

On Monday we had a very interesting day. We are looking at uniting our two offices in South Africa. Business people have shared with us the Step process in dealing with issues such as this.
The first step is to describe the external environment that we work in or will work in. So, if we are going to describe South Africa as an environment for a Christian Mission to work in, how would YOU describe it. I would very much like to hear from as many people as possible regarding your perception of South Africa. I have worked on some ideas but before I post my description, let hear from YOU.
Is crime the greatest issue we face? What about poverty, HIV/AIDS? Housing?
